How will technology impact special education in the furture?

My district has been involved in excellent technology this week. It has made me think. What will special education look like as technology explodes? For so long students with learning disabilities have been placed in the resource room because they have basic computation deficits in either reading or math. If the student can reason through the math and get the answer with a calculator or Wolframalpha, shouldn't they get the opportunity to be in the regular classroom?
